Following our recent photoshoot in Phuket, Thailand we received a lot of requests for more info on our stay there which i’m happy to share as hopefully it will inspire you to visit one day!
DAY 1
Being Singapore based it’s only a short flight (1 hr 30 mins) to Phuket, we took an early morning flight and arrived around midday. From the airport the Pullman Hotel was only a few kilometres away so after a short taxi ride we arrived at the hotel which was breathtaking!

THE iconic picture spot at Pullman Phuket
The hotel has a very cosy lobby which is perfect for chilling out
DAY 2
After a great sleep in possibly the biggest (and most comfortable) bed I have ever slept in, the day was spent chilling by the pool and of course enjoying the delicious Thai food which i’m crazy about.
Absolutely loved this triple size bed!
The balcony in the room was a great place to relax and listen to the sounds of the ocean
View from outside the hotels main restaurant, love the orange pillows
DAY 3
After two very relaxing and enjoyable days it was finally time to do some work and we had a busy morning shooting the latest Pink Tree Label collections which worked out great as the hotel grounds were so inspiring and the natural sunlight was perfect for the shoot. I have included a few photos from the shoot below, if you wish to see more please go to our website and/or instagram pages.

DAY 4
We were keen to explore the island and after some research managed to secure the service of Panya who was an excellent driver with great recommendations of where to go etc and has an incredible knowledge of Thai history so it was interesting to gain a lot more insight about the country and its historical background.
I was really keen to look at some of the materials available in Phuket seeking inspiration for my upcoming collections and we headed for the old Phuket town to explore the material (and coffee!) shops there. As we were driving down the west coast of the island we also decided to stop in at Bimi Beach Club for some lunch which again was fantastic and offered a wide variety of international food choices.
I really loved the mirror tiled walls in Bimi Beach Club
Bookhemian coffee shop in the Phuket Old Town
Bookhemian sell great postcards and have a quaint post box right outside
DAY 5
All good things must come to an end and after spending a lazy morning spent by the pool there was just enough time to enjoy one final delicious Thai lunch (chicken with cashew nuts and steamed rice in banana leaf) before departing for the airport.

I really enjoyed my time in Phuket and discovered a side to the island that was very different from the stereotypical views of Phuket. I hope you enjoyed reading the blog and who knows maybe you feel inspired to visit soon! I would love to hear your recommendations and experiences if you have been to Phuket before.
Thanks for reading our blog,
